About Dr. Klein
I am originally from Pennsylvania and earned my BA in Psychology and minored in Leadership and Coaching at Gannon University. I earned my master’s degree in Psychology as well as my specialist’s degree in School Psychology at Towson University in Maryland. I have been a Nationally Certified School Psychologist since 2010, holding School Psychologist a license in Pennsylvania, Mississippi, and Oklahoma. I have continued to consult and work with local school districts across states.
I then earned my Ph.D. at Mississippi State University (go DAWGS!). I completed my APA-accredited internship at Cypress Fairbank I.S.D. outside of Houston, TX. I completed my Post-Doctoral Residency in a private practice in Tulsa, OK and became a licensed psychologist in September 2015. I have since owned and operated my own private practice in Tulsa, OK.
Upon moving to Tulsa, OK my wife and I realized the significant need for supporting children and their families. My wife and I have made the decision to make the Tulsa community our home after living in the Eastern Time zone for most of out lives (we do NOT miss the 100"+ of snow each year).
My professional practice focuses on three areas:
- Psychological Assessment:
Children 2 to 21 years old for potential diagnosis
Adult testing is on a case by case basis, please contact me to see if I can help!
- Psychoeducational Assessment
Assessment for learning disability only is a cash payment; insurance does not cover due to the school system being able to provide the service
- Advocacy/Consultation:
Given my background as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist, I use my knowledge of educational laws and school systems to help parents advocate for themselves as well as directly advocate as needed within the school (public) system.
- Treatment:
Individual Therapy (approximate ages served 10 -25)
Group Therapy (determined by need)
Family Therapy
Parent Education
Social Skills Groups (in early stages of implementation)
Training for parents, teachers, and schools
I firmly believe and apply that if I am not a good fit or do not have the necessary training to help you, I will refer you to another professional(s) that can help you and your family; my job is to help you and your family the best way possible. I look forward to meeting with you!
